BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
.jpg)
I remember as a kid walking in my grandmother's room and seeing what I thought was a startled look. I could see she was doing something with her bra and she didn't want me to see. At the time I didn't know she had had a Mastectomy and only had one breast. She was preparing her bra to show symmetry. How she was doing it I do not know. Now looking back at the situation I'm sure if she was startled or embarrassed. Women are more open now than they were then on the subject. Being a part of this competition gives me and opportunity to raise funds for breast cancer awareness in honor of her!! If she was here today I would want her to know that I love, honor and respect her. She is an overcomer and did what most was not able to do.
